Internet Safety Tip: Online Pornography

In order to drive up revenue, porn marketers use pop-up windows which when closed open up more pop-up windows. Known as ‘mouse napping,’ this technique traps users in an endless loop of porn. Thus, if you see your child sitting in front of a screen full or pornography, desperately trying to click away, realize that they might have gotten there simply by trying to close a site they didn’t intend to visit. Utilize it as an opportunity to talk to your kids about pornography.
